IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is one of the world’s most popular English language proficiency tests for Study, Migration or Work in English Speaking Country.
IELTS assists you to grasp and learn necessary English skills to succeed in getting a Study visa, Immigration visa or Work permit abroad. You have to exhibit some evidence of your excellence in English and this is the very reason why the IELTS exam is conducted.
The IELTS examination is the gateway to admissions to overseas colleges. The students or working professionals who dream to study abroad and work overseas mostly prepare for this test. IELTS is accepted in 139 countries such as Australia, Canada, US, UK, Ireland and many more, as evidence of English language proficiency.
The examination is managed by three associations which are IDP Australia, and Cambridge ESOL.
The IELTS is available in two formats:
Academic- Most suitable for academic purposes, those applying for higher education should opt for this format
General Training- For those applying for migration or work or commence business related training in an English-speaking nation.
In both the versions you will be accurately assessed in the four language skills: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.

IELTS is accepted as a standardised international language test system for English language proficiency by a whole range of institutions. These include the majority of all educational establishments operating in English in Australia, Canada, the UK and New Zealand. The US educational institutions are also now starting to use it. IELTS score is accepted as proof of your English proficiency. Many European countries where English is not the first or even the second language would ask for IELTS test score to accept admission to a university or college that offers courses in English.
