Japanese is an East Asian language and is spoken by 128 million people across the world. Unlike French, German or Spanish, Japanese is not commonly taught or studied which makes it unique to learn. And hence, proficiency in Japanese makes one stand out in the market.
Learning Japanese will boost your professional value due to various underlying reasons. Japan is the third largest economy in the world with various Japanese brands firmly established all over the world.
With Japan’s position as an influential market leader, a good knowledge of Japanese can give your professional life a great boost with many MNCs looking for certified professionals.
Learning Japanese will also make it easier to grasp other Asian languages like Korean and Chinese. A thorough knowledge of the language will also open the doors to the ever growing market of Japanese cultural exports which brings huge business opportunities.
JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) is conducted by the Japan Foundation and Japan Educational Exchanges and Services to evaluate the proficiency of non-native speakers. It is an international Japanese exam carried out on a large scale worldwide. The Japan Foundation administers this test along with the local institutions of the respective countries other than Japan.
To maintain the relevancy of this international certification, the Japan Foundation updates the exam pattern from time to time. Formerly, this examination had four levels:- N1, N2, N3, N4. A new level N5 was added in 2010 to make the distribution of syllabus more accurate and appropriate. The current level of N4 and N5 corresponds to the old level of 3 and 4 respectively. The current N3 level bridges the gap between the old 2 and 3 levels.
At IAOL, the course modules and pedagogy align with Japan Foundation and Japan Educational Exchanges and Services curriculum and official study material for candidates to get certified with JLPT and empower their lives through career guidance and job consultation.
